katiemarie has spent the majority of her 15 year entertainment career attending to the aesthetic aspects of electronic music events: clothing, decor, ambience and overall, vibes. Mid-2020, she dove into to audio end of event curation.
Through a story-telling approach, Katie explores the diverse realms of minimal techno, dub techno, techno, breakbeats, house and the multitude of genres that are found in-between.
While she caters to a housemusic loving scene at her monthly NPT HAUS event series in Newport, RI, she prefers to explore the darker realms of the dance floor. Her Full Moon Mix Series is a carefully selected 5 part journey through the dark, psychedelic, weird and groovy.
When she’s not making apparel, DJ mixes and throwing above-ground parties, she’s hosting underground techno-centric events in her lovely city of Providence and vendor-coordinating for events like Fractal Fest.
