Presenter Bio

Theresa Silver (Lumendrop) is an audiovisual performance artist, multimedia developer, stage designer, and projection mapping specialist. Originally passionate to explore the realm of sound, she studied for a decade as a classical pianist and harpist before discovering electronic music, which drew her to study sound synthesis and design at Berklee College of Music in Boston, and sparked a new interest for digital signal processing which led her in turn to the Computer Science Masters Program at Harvard University, where she was introduced to computer graphics and generative algorithms and there — her love of visualizing sound was born. Branching from there into live video performance and sculptural projection mapping, she has brought her vision to more than 1,000 events throughout the United States.
