Workshop Description
Flow through all of your emotions on an inward journey guided by percussion with Xyla and voice by Mune. This is a safe space for healing through vibration, rewriting past hardships and trauma, and releasing what was to make room for what is to be.
Presenter Bio
Xyla is a percussive savant and spiritual seeker of knowledge and skills. In their teenage years and even today they're an LGBTQ pioneer and they developed a love for piano, synthesizer, percussive instruments of all kinds, guitar and bass. Electronic Dance Music and Psychedelic tunes are their genres of choice to play and listen to with an emphasis on ambient flowing and beautifully bright sounds. Xyla is a true artist in every medium, including hand craft, as they also have a background in long distance hiking, carpentry, painting, downhill mountain biking and road biking, welding, mechanical, woodworking, and everything they build is done with ingenious attention to detail. Xyla has performed for hundreds in the past, has an EDM project on SoundCloud called Mirage Iguana, and is breaking out the instruments for the first time in years to perform under the umbrella of Sacred Canvas with the company of Mune from Bee In The Amber.
Mune’s pronouns are (they,she,dude,he) They’re an islander at heart, by genetics, and in their upbringing. She offers a glow uncommon to main land, akin to the smiles on the streets of Tahiti, as grounded and strong as a beachfront palm. She has been honing her crochet craft for many years, and more recently has been attending events at which she stuns with her flows. Additionally, she fabricates jewelry for healing purposes to which many attest a tooth ache is no match. They studied massage and shiatsu therapy and uses acupressure knowledge with close friends and family, and plans on furthering studying in this area. She is a channeler, a numerologist, and a compassionate advocate of the disabled community. They’re an adamant believer in off grid sustainably, all while maximizing personal freedom and is currently building a tiny home on wheels with goals of continuing to travel to all 50 states when they want to enjoy something other than their future log cabin. She has three awesome children, and is currently building up the bus life for them and living with her cat, Grimoire.
