Lenore is co-founder of elements, one of the longest running electronic music weeklies in the world, which launched at the Phoenix Landing in January of ’99 and where it remains to this day. In the early 90’s her passion for house music prompted her to start collecting records which somewhat accidentally led to djing. She soon developed an affinity for breakbeats and jungle as well, while perusing new releases at record stores. Now in its 25th year, her night has brought in local, national and international talent to Boston, building the reputation of one of the most prestigious dnb events in the country and world. A resident of elements since its inception, she is known for her seamless style of mixing and forward-thinking selections, having been an early upholder of autonomic sounds, 160 and the rebirth of slower iterations of jungle. Her diverse record collection and discernment in procuring fresh new sounds has made her genre-bending sets some of her most affecting.
