sunnk is an experimental new media artist based in the UK and a co-founder of https://glitch.cool, a collective exploring the intersections of art and technology, and has worked on projects with Mesh, Force Inc. / Mille Plateaux, Lightbox NYC, and New Art City.

Working with glitch and generative techniques, sunnk uses technology, visual arts, and the emerging hyperglitch music genre to explore diametrically opposed themes of psychology and esotericism, emotional dissonances found in neurological disorders, and corporeal technology and science alongside ritual magick and occultism.

These entanglements of almost-opposites are mirrored musically in hyperglitch by its breaking down of the barriers between the energy of bass-driven club music and experimental soundscapes and production techniques more typical of electroacoustic music and sound art. This is furthered in sunnk's creative approach: pulling from field recordings and a variety of generative and destructive techniques, before employing a pointillist technique to gradually patch them into cohesive works.
