workshop description

Sound Magician Eve Kat and Story Sorceress Elizabeth of Lore come together to guide participants through a visionary journey with sound and language. The workshop begins with an intentional sound bath by Eve Kat to open the third eye, followed by a guided writing session facilitated by Elizabeth of Lore during which we integrate the visions, channelings, imaginings, and inspiration cultivated by the sound bath. These workshops combine the skills of fiction writing with personal healing and manifestation, and are appropriate for all experience levels.

For the Fest, we offer the option of either just one workshop on one of the following topics, or multiple workshops which each cover one. We are also happy to chat and potentially develop a new theme just for you!

Personal Myth Making - Living well is a narrative choice. With this in mind, how do we shape the story of our selves to rise into our highest potential. Past lives, parallel lives, current timelines, shadow and light selves, and pure imagination come together in this workshop to help guide participants in creating their own personal myths. Participants can expect to come away with a writing toolkit aimed toward character development and mythology, as well as a deepened connection with their most authentic self. Note: Past iterations of this workshop have included and element of shadow work. While healing and very well received, there may be some more difficult topics that arist in this particular theme.

World Weaving - In this workshop we channel through the multiverse to touch other worlds, some very different from our own, some close relatives or future incarnations of the dimension where we currently reside. Participants will learn to describe and understand these other worlds, and we will work together to envision palpable means for weaving our ideal reality into our current timeline. Participants can expect to walk away with a writing toolkit to build fantasy worlds, as well as a clearer idea on how to create the world they wish to inhabit in their daily lives.

Time Magick - What would your life look like if you got a reset on that relationship, job opportunity, endeavor or other experience that you wish had gone differently? What happens in that timeline where history is tweaked? What do you do with a fresh start? In this workshop, we channel through the dimension of time to explore other versions of this reality, both "positive" and "negative." Participants will learn the art of alternate-timeline fiction, and we will work together to resolve regrets, find peace within our reality, and decide how to create and navigate an energetic timeline reset. Participants can expect to walk away with a writing toolkit geared toward fiction that explores the dimension of time, and a renewed sense of appreciation and hope in their daily lives.
