I have been DJing ecstatic dances for quite a few years now. I have also taken several contact dance workshops around the world and have a great understanding of both connection and how to connect, hence me assisting with Shastina. As far as being a Master of Ceremonies in performing my ecstatic dance sets, I have been on a long musical & spiritual journey exploring both myself and others, learning how to properly guide folks through such experiences. Dance, music, and connection are all my biggest passions in life and I am quite eager to share the gifts and ideas I have been finely crafting underground and am ready to break through the soil and grow in our collective community!
I have been a Yoga Instructor for 6 years, trained in Vinyassa in South Florida. I facilitate Sound Journeys using Hang Drum, Crystal Singing Bowls, 4 Elemental Koshi bells, Drums, Rattles, Rainstick and much more. Weekly classes for Yoga and Sound Journey are available on many online classes, as well as in groups or privates. I am very passionate about the wellbeing of mind, body, soul, heart connection and utilize many modalities of Life/ Soul Coaching and Counseling. In a session, we focus on activating and awakening the individual's true purpose , authentic expression, passions and power. During a session, I give encouragement, support, assist with life path, focus on letting go of what no longer serves and filling up with what is in better alignment. I am also REIKI Level 2 Certified. During a Reiki Session, we may work with crystals as well.
workshop description
Greetings FractalFam! I recently connected with Shastina Ann-Wallace, who has done contact dance workshops previous years and after chatting, we realized combining our talents/abilities could be a killer combo! I would help her with soundscapes while she is doing her contact workshop, and then it would lead into an ecstatic dance set, performed by yours truly. My portion would consist of a DJ set with live instrumentation, and would encourage connection with others, as well as connection with our inner-being (aka the Universe;), tying into the "two dimension coexisting" theme this year. Beings that it would be an ecstatic dance experience, I wanted to make cute little wooden signs for the dance floor saying "No Shoes" "No Booze" "No Substance Abuse" "Consent Only Partner Dancing"..or something of the sorts. I think this would also be a great opportunity to interdimentionally explore in a safe environment, encouraging people to go deep freely, solely using music as their "medicine". The beauty of collaborating with Shastina is that she will be teaching how to explore inwardly as well as with others, and then they could immediately apply their newly found skills during my set, then hopefully carrying that with them as they continue through the rest of the festival..or life for that matter! As we are all evolving in these intense, changing times, I think what Shastina and myself have to offer is quite timely and of great value.
