Presenter bio

My chosen name is Wind and I am just a modern day millennial trying to survive with a foot in both worlds. I live and play in Maine, and find comfort and stillness amongst the trees. Most of my time is spent working full time in the mental health care field, and the other part of the time, I am organizing and attending events that actively promote a better relationship with each other and the earth. I facilitate workshops ranging from “Platonic Intimacy,” Enchanted Sensuality,” and “How Can We Come Together To Make This World Better.” I practice my own sense of activism through my spoken word poetry, and I’ve been seen facilitating guided meditations to practice opening up the heart. I’m smart enough to know I’ve come a long way, and humble enough to realize I am always a student of life. One of my deepest desires is to bridge worlds together, so we may finally live in harmony with each other again. I can be playful and silly, and raw and authentic, and vulnerable and confident, and strong and soft. I’m just a millennial with a foot in both worlds, guided by my heart, and following what feels good.

workshop description

In a world so divided, this is divine timing.

Let us ground ourselves into the moment, with the earth, with each other, and recognize that we are all interwoven and connected in a profound way. During this time for humanity, we need to support each other now more than ever. Let us have a facilitated group discussion of how we can show up for each other when we are at home, when we are not physically gathered on the land. We all have different wisdoms, and resources, and connections, and networks.

It is of utmost importance that if we are gathering together in mass numbers, we are planning and creating a support system for each other so that we no longer have to do life alone.

This group discussion is what is being called forth right now from a deeper calling for change, for community, for togetherness. Since this gathering is exploring “two dimensions coexisting at the same time,” let’s chat about how we can agree to disagree with people, and still show them dignity and respect. Learning how to coexist in this world collaboratively is our next mission. Wanna talk about it?
